"I just arrived in Medicine Hat for a long work stay, and this was my first stop on my restaurant hunt, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere and decor is lovely, not too high end, but warm and inviting. I sat in the lounge...as I was solo dining and it was just as nice in there. The service was attentive and friendly, you can tell the manager (sandy? is a favourite and makes everyone feel at home. I had the Alberta sirloin entree-medium rare. The steak was cooked closer to rare with a cooler red centre, but I prefer it that way anyways. The sun-dried tomato herb butter on top was to die for. The potatoes were so cheesy and delicious as well. I recommend the gold Cadillac margarita if you’re looking for a good cocktail as well. Lots of friendly people and a fun local dining experience, I’ll be back for sure!"

"We decided to celebrate our anniversary at the Keg. As usual the service and meal were awesome. The staff made us feel safe as they adhered to all of the COVID-19 protocols. I had the prime rib which was absolutely delicious. A BIG thank you to the Keg staff for making our dining experience special."

"Went for dinner, service was pretty decent, waitress was friendly... Food arrived promptly and was terrific. The place is quite loud, wouldn't suggest for an intimate meal but also wouldn't hesitate to return for dinner. Took some time to pay but one of their debit machines were down so also understandable."

"The food and service was great, as usual. The disappointment came when our bill arrived and it was significantly higher than the menu prices. No mention of the increase was made until the server was questioned on the discrepancy. The server apologized and attempted to make up the difference by giving us a 15% friends and family discount. That was appreciated. Unfortunately, we will not be back due to the significant increase."
