"The food here is really good and the service is excellent. The surroundings are rustic and authentic French, although they are a little loud for cozy conversations. If you are looking for fantastic French cuisine for your data, this is a good choice. All dishes were so tasteful that they were a pleasure in your taste and senses. However, if you are looking for some rest to enjoy French cuisine, Fleur de Sel would be a better choice. If you just want a delicious French treat for your palette and senses, this is the right place to go."

"Love their peppercorn sauce steaks. I ordered medium rare. Fish and chips are great too, fish taste fresh, crispy batter. Food are all serve hot. Only disappointed with the french onion soup as the soup is too salty for my taste. Very accommodating as I forgot to book a table during this very peak period (valentine's day). Awesome service. Payment is after meal not as app says to pay to process order. Will return!"

"If you want some authentic hainanese style western food, this humble family eatery should definitely be on your list. I have been here many times and it's still my family's favorite place for the amazing food, service and the price. While they are famous for their Ox Tail, which is my dad's favorite dish and he ordered anyway, I ordered one of their newer item on the menu, the Rosemary Lamb Shank. I can't fully stress how soft and tender the meat is; I simply just need a fork for the meal. It's just so juicy and the marination speaks length for the arduous preparation process. One of the things I really like about this place is the hospitality. Even before you start ordering your food, you will be warmly greeted by the staff and ushered to your seat. You will also be immediately attracted to the surroundings filled with stuffs of the previous century. Lastly you will be extremely pleased to hear that they DO NOT charge extra GST and Service charges. If you are in Joo Chiat area, you should definitely try this place."

"Ambience was very cosy and they have a variety of food choices. We were greeted with two test tubes of vegetable juice and it was surprisingly tasty. Afterwards we ordered the pasta and it was one the best pasta I have tried. I forgot the name but it was the first option under the pasta section. The taste was very unique and you can't find it else where! The scallop was very fresh too! Recommended to bring your date here for a chill night out!"

"Walked in with very little expectations but was pleasantly surprised. First of all i appreciated the toasted bread basket. Other places usually serve it without toasting. The white sauce pizza with sundried tomatoes was delicous, with a thin crispy crust. Simple but well done. I had the linguine puttenesca which was average. Bot bad, but not great. Could do with more anchovy. My friends had the crabmeat pink sauce pasta and parma ham ravioli. Likewise, both were ok. The seafood taste in the crab one was nice, and the parma one was interesting. Then we had creme crulee and tiramisu. Both good, but prices seemed a little high. Also, not sure why the creme brulee costs more than the tiramisu We also had a bottle of wine. Total was $210~ for 3 pax. A little on the high side but i feel it is ok for the quality of food and service. Would go back for the pizza, and to try the other items on the menu."
