"Our experience at Scala’s Bistro was very good. The food was very good especially the pasta with fresh crab. The service was attentive, she didn’t try to rush us even though we were there more than and hrs. The Bostonians for desert isn’t as good as it used to be but still good. One complaint is the cost. In addition to increase in prices for the food and tip tacking on other charges makes dining here very expensive. Reinforces staying in the East bay to dine"

"Steak tartar was the most balanced I’ve ever had Porterhouse cooked perfectly Sauce on porterhouse I asked for more Soufflé was perfect Service was excellent and we should like to return for Holiday dinner. Only drawback, they need to update the decor it’s really out of touch and dated. That’s the only complaint. Many thanks Julio for a great night"
