"A very disappointing New Year’s Eve dinner. I found the Hyde house’s pre fix New Year’s Eve dinner on instagram and booked a reservation for my boyfriend and I. We were very excited as we rarely dine out. Our appetizers were good, I had the salad andhe tried the bisque. Our server was a bit on the flakey side, we rarely saw her and she seemed flustered at every encounter.There was no salt and pepper on the table and she didn’t bring us new forks when we went from dinner (salmon) to dessert(cheesecake). Kinda gross, but whatever. Our entrees were both cold and one was completely wrong. The Hyde house advertisedprime rib (the reason we made the res) and we were given pork. There is no beef prime rib on this planet that is white. I shouldhave known better looking at the 69.99$ for two deal. Lesson learned. But when I tried to bring it up at the restaurant to adifferent server, ours was very absent, she assured me (lied to me or doesn’t have a clue) we were served prime rib. Ididn’t know how to react so I gave up on the argument. After paying and leaving, I contacted the Hyde house and was lied toagain by the owner. Just apologize, own your mistake and offer to make it right. Shame on you. I’ll post the pictures soeveryone can see we were served pork instead of prime rib. Don’t waste your time. What a strange and maddening experience."

"This is my favorite place in town. The food stands up to any restaurant in any city. I am there easily 3 times a week. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, all fabulous. The staff is great. Friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is clean and modern. My one and only complaint is that the lighting at night is too harsh to be inviting. Fabulous place. Love the owners. What a gift that place is!"

"Finally tried Bacon after all these years. Great menu options. Lots of comfort food and home cooking style dishes with a little flair. Get here early as the line was pretty long when we arrived for Sunday brunch. Once seated, the food comes pretty quickly. I had the grits bowl with shrimp added and it was great. Husband had the Hash and that was tasty as well. We got the bacon shots as they were out of the bacon cinnamon rolls I planned on trying. Will definitely shoot for those next time and try to get there earlier. The mimosas were yummy. Staff was friendly and helpful and kept everything moving like a well oiled machine despite being busy, so if the line seems long, don't let that scare you. Everything happens pretty fast once you get up to the counter to order. Can't wait to go here again!"

"Took DH out for Father 's Day. They were busy, of course, but we didn 't have to wait more than 10 minutes for a table. Husband ordered several items, with special requests. Can you put cheese on that? Can you add gravy? They made all the modifications and he loved every bite. Waitress was warm and attentive. The fresh squeezed orange juice was a definite treat, as well. I thought my breakfast was pretty mediocre; but, to be fair, I 'm not really a breakfast eater."
