"We have been coming to Pine Tavern for years. We had patio seating and the temp. was perfect with a mild breeze. We were a party of 6. The Rueben sandwich was very dry.....not much 1,000 Island dressing. One person in our party ordered ginger ale and when he asked for a refill, he was not informed that the ginger ale was not a free refill and charged them for a second drink. We all felt that the server should have explained that this is from the bar and not a free refill. Other than that, we had a very nice time together."

It 's too bad when someone gets a bad waiter/bad service, that can happen even at the Ritz! : But the food here is different, tasty, the atmosphere is fun, and like my father used to say: 'always eat at a restaurant that is packed instead of an empty one, that speaks volumes '. You can call ahead for a table, though they don 't accept reservations, but it helps and you usually get seated right away when you arrive. The Pollo Aljibe (Cuban-American dish was to die for as well as the Enchiladas Suizas and their caipirinha drinks."
