"Had breakfast at Swami 's Cafe Escondido this past Sunday. Food was out of this world from coffee to smoothies to breakfast dishes. Loved the idea that coffee was serve yourself. Loved you could get anytime and season to your preference. Also had a great selection. The place had a very nice vib to it with about equal amounts of indoor or outdoor seating. Food came very quickly when ordered. Only very minor nit was took a few minutes too long for server to get to the table to take orders. Of course had a cup of coffee to carry us over. Overall great experience and will be trying the lunch menu soon. BTW they are only open for breakfast and lunch to don 't plan on a dinner."

"We're here on our vacation near by and trying out all these coffee shops. What separates this one from others is how clean and welcoming this Cafe is. My family enjoyed eating healthy breakfast here and sipping on hot late."

"A family owned restaurant that is much more than a burger place. Good, home cooked food made from fresh ingredients. The fries are nice and real and crispy. The chili is homemade. I loved watching the local repeat customers come in for their fish tacos or breakfast burritos. I don’t love dining alone but in this case it was a true pleasure."

"Breakfast here are great! I got the Buff Breakfast Burrito and they substituted tofu and potato for the chicken and egg. The salsa was mild but flavorful. They also have vegan whole wheat pancakes. Let them know you're vegan and they'll give great ideas for substitutions. Will be back again!"

"First time at this popular beachside breakfast diner the pancakes were manhole sized pancakes which can easily be shared with two to three people. They are huge! The potatoes were delicious. The omelette was done very well and so tasty. The surprising winner of the morning was the TOAST not the French toast just the toast) we got an order of sour dough and wheat toast and it was off the charts amazing not expecting that at all. I would go there just to get a piece of toast. With regard to the other toast we ordered the French kind French toast was not good. Orange juice was not good. Also CASH ONLY! There’s an ATM inside the restaurant so it’s convenient. Service was excellent we had a great server!!!"
