"The food was great! Our server was super sweet and got our order perfect and it came out pretty quick. It was towards the end of the lunch shift so our server was taking tables and orders and basically needed help. I spotted the manager, bald man in a blue shirt sleeved shirt, casually chatting with a customer. He was literally 4 feet from our table while I was standing with my 9 month old grandson looking for our server and keeping him calm. After a few min I found some boxes on my own and even got my own bag. The manager saw me do this as he made eye contact when I went to get the paper bag for my leftovers. We went to the front but the cashier could not find our check although her effort was greatly appreciated. I then went up to the still chatting manager and asked him to please help his staff. I've waited tables and managed restaurants over the last 25 years, that manager can't say he didn't notice what was happening. And if he really didn't notice.... I'd fire him on the spot if I was his regional manager. If you don't know how to get out of a conversation with a guest and help your staff, you don't need to be there on a Sunday afternoon when it's busy. I was so disappointed. I just feel so bad for the staff having to work with someone who doesn't offer support as he should to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly. And the lame apology when he finally came to help the cashier was pitiful."

"My family and I checked this place out before leaving Houston as we heard about it from some friends. We had a long wait which was expected on a Saturday morning. The restaurant was really cool looking with the decor. A very homey feeling. The food was good and staff very friendly. Recommend this place for sure!"

"Stop for a late night cup hot chocolate and ended with ordering the French Toast Combo (Strawberry/Banana). I also ordered Strawberry Lemonade, but wasn't really a fan of it. Great customer service but. my waitress was super nice!"

"The food was amazing. Its a nice little cafe/diner set up. Seems family owned or operated. The staff was super attentive. No wait for a table, atmosphere was quiet with some country music playing in the background. Food came out in good time, was hot and delicious. I swear there must be an old grandma in the back with an apron on making skillet potatoes and eggs lol. Food was seasoned to perfection, not salted, seasoned! There is a difference trust me. Will be going back next weekend. Oh, and its not so rushed like the chain restaurants."
