"Came here to avoid pricey hotel breakfast buffet. We're glad we did! This a small, clean, down-home restaurant. The owner is on site to welcome patrons and take orders. Food comes out hot, fresh and is extremely reasonable--we got two full breakfasts (eggs, cheese grits, biscuit, French toast, ham, salmon croquettes) and two coffees for around $20 including tip. Ham was deliciously blackened and I swear the French toast tasted like roasted marshmallows. Croquettes were amazing as well--crispy but not greasy at all. Starch and protein choices seemed endless. Service is fast and friendly. This place has hardly any online reviews and isn't much to look at from the outside, but it was absolutely hopping on a Wednesday morning. Definitely a hidden gem. It also seems to be known as Tay's."

"This restaurant needs to redo their menu because it's extremely limited. I almost ordered the lamb chops just find out that it didn't come with any sides. The waitress also said they only had 2 sides (mashed potatoes and asparagus). Several menu items were unavailable because they were out of stock. The only good thing I have to say about this restaurant is the decor is really nice. The food was very mediocre for the price. It was definitely the worst 87 dollars I've ever spent."

"If you?re deciding between here and Big Hole BBQ like we were, come here. We tried both. Only 5 star restaurant in Jackson that doesn?t cost an arm and a leg! BBQ was great. We got the pulled pork platter with baked beans Mac and cheese and the 3 meat platter with brisket, sausage and ribs. All delicious and juicy."
