"Wow! First, the food was excellent. We started with beet salad. My wife and friend had razor clams, another friend had sturgeon. I'm vegetarian, I found the mushroom ravioli to be delicious. For dessert, we split a tiramisu and homemade ice cream. Our server Juan did a great job. Prices were reasonable. It was so good we were back the next morning for breakfast. My wife had Willapa Bay oysters, which she reported were fresh and delicious. We also split and order of New Orleans beignets.I had the blueberry waffles with blueberry syrup, it was wonderful. We highly recommend the 42nd Street Cafe if you're on the Long Beach Peninsula."

"Large small place near the hotel, where we also stay in the decent menu, so decided to take dinner and drink a quick drink. Super friendly staff fast service. I have the snipers and champs and sausage rolls. I'll tell you some of the best potatoes are here. I regret not getting a double part. There are also shredded cattle swords. Sausage roles are a little different from other versions I had, but still a fantastic starter. Will definitely be back."

"Ellie's is one of those great neighborhood finds that produces great food, professional staff and is always busy. Veteran move take a rideshare ride to the restaurant as parking is in a residential neighborhood and nonexistant. Arancini is to die for BTW. I have never been disappointed"
