"Penny's Place, aka The FIsherman's Boot, is a Steveston institution. The people who grumble about it are entitled yuppies who expect too much. Penny's Place is a cafe in the Paramount Building at the foot of Trite's in Steveston, specializing in hearty breakfasts and lunches (dirt cheap) and take out sandwiches. This is a place for fishers and locals, so if you expect high falutin' service, go to a high falutin' joint. Penny's food is always cooked perfectly and offers huge portions with a dose of salty humor. To families, your children may be exposed to salty seafarer language. To gourmets go elsewhere. To people looking for a great brekkie or lunch and a wonderful walk around a working site, come here."

"Just like home! I am from Hong Kong, and have lived there for 12 years, and I can confidently say that they are of most authentic, when it comes to HK style food. From the all-day breakfast; satay beef noodles; their lunch sets and properly brewed tea. Come, when you can't travel or is in need of invoking nostalgia, Sun Century is a very good choice indeed."

"Actual rating 2.5/5. I and my gf were rather excited to come try this contemporary Italian style restaurant as they are newly opened and original from Taiwan. Well, the truth is, upon being seated & the server mentioned there's a 90 minute time limit and the minimum order of one drink per person (we intended to have meals anyway), we both feel not so welcomed and have NO desire to return regardless of the fancy decor, the sweet service and the nice presentation...Feedback questionnaire was given out prior to the bill, apparently DC is keen on customer ratings to improve their food/ service quality. But with this "Stupid" policy, we will just go eat somewhere else next time! Our first visit will also be our last time here, Chao!PS, Total time we stay is 52 minutes includes taking the food porn photos."
