"Went there off season (end may). Staff was very kind and friendly. But the servings did not match. Vegetables are usally unseasoned steamed carrots. Rice is fine. The scallops were as well unseasoned and uninspired. If you ask >30 CAD per dish the sauce tartare as well as the salad dressing should not be a commercially packed high processed Kraft product. I would not recommend. The basic product (scallops) were very good and should have deserved better"

"Good food, table ordered French toast with bacon and breakfast burritos with hash. Lovely cafe, it seems well enjoyed by locals and tourists alike. Great service! Wish they had more seating, but on the plus side there is a ramp so it is accessible to the cafe floor, I’m unsure about the gift shop downstairs. We planning on returning for breakfast again tomorrow."

"What a little gem! The owners were 'best kind ' and just the kind of people you want to meet across Newfoundland. Tried the moose burger the moose jerky. They will prepare food time permitting but have lots of items to go at the ready. Lots of odds and ends to look at here, and you can meet 'Miss Treasure ' the moose."
