"We were in town for a Friday night wedding and this was recommended for breakfast. It is a turn the clock back (in the best way possible) restaurant. We were greeted at the door by an absolutely accommodating gentleman. Service was great. Food was delicious. My wife really enjoyed the gluten free pancakes. I'm not a huge pancake eater, but I had the pumpkin pancakes. They were outstanding. They have a nice gift store as well. If you want to visit an absolutely great place with good food, this is the place. Thanks so much for making our day."

"Delicious Turkish dinner. I just went to Heavy Evie for the third time and I can't say enough about the food. I had a roasted turkey dinner with engraving and potatoes (real) and vegetables, bread and butter... this is the REAL thing, not processed. Last time I had a cheeseburger and they were also packed on order and hand... no frozen patty you get in many places. For breakfast I ordered the homemade Corned beef hash and it was the best I ever had. There were some South Carolina truckers for breakfast this day and they told me that when they're in NE, they went to Heavy Evie's for the hash. Because everything is to be ordered, you may have to wait 10 minutes, but it is worth waiting. It is not a fast food facility or a meeting place like a pizza shop. If you want good food with very moderate prices, check-out Evie's."

"Entered a man address in maps for a different restaurant, and it brought us here. We definitely weren?t disappointed! Very busy place, but they were quick to seat us. We opted to sit at the counter. Hubby got the house omelette. I got the Mexican scramble. Our waitress Toni said that?s what she gets felt it was the best thing on the menu. It was delicious! Hubby?s omelette was amazing as well. Portions are enormous. We couldn?t finish them. Service was great!! If we are in the Rutland area, they will be our go-to!"

"Cute place. Cows...everywhere. service was ok, coffee was ok, table wobbled, food was awesome. The food made it. We both got a French toast dish. I got crunchy French toast which was incredible, one of the best French toast dishes I think I've had. My gf got a banana French toast dish which she loved as well."
