"On a positive note, I just had breakfast at the Blue Rooster in Ajax for the first time. Four eggs, bacon, sausage or ham, home fries, grilled or deep fried, and toast and a selection of jam and marmalade. Mon to Fri 7 to 10 5.99 Excellent service and food. Plus 15% off regular priced items for Seniors on Tuesday. I thoroughly enjoyed it."

"I ordered their Quinoa Power Bowl in UberEats and was pretty disappointed. I paid almost $25 for just the bowl and delivery (yikes). When I received it, it was just a mush of quinoa, beans and four pieces of spinach in a styrofoam container. It tasted okay but nothing outrageously amazing to have spent $25."

"Had their jerk burger and 2lb wings. Smithwicks on tap. The beer was just a little off somehow...not quite sure what it was, but tasted a little sour and just a bit flat. I suspect they haven't been cleaning their draft lines as often as they should. A well-run pub (and this one claims to be a best of British style pub) should make very sure they clean the lines regularly. Disappointing!The burger was good, the fries that came with it were very good! Delicious. The wings were also good, but we were disappointed in the portion size. 2lbs of wings turned out to be only 13 wings. They were fairly big, but somehow I suspect we didn't really get a full 2lb. A bit stingy on the dipping sauce too. Also, many other places will either include fries with their wings, or at least offer fries with them for just a dollar more. Here, you have to pay $5 for an order of fries if you want them along with your wings. The waitress was OK. Nothing special, not particularly attentive or friendly, but fine enough. The washrooms were very clean.So, overall we were happy enough with the taste of the food, but not very happy with their portions or pricing. Not at all happy with their draft beer."

"Met friends here for lunch recently. This is a large place and we easily found a small comfortable booth. Staff were very attentive and it wasnt long before we had menu's and drinks. Our food wasn't far behind and came out steaming hot. Great bonus is we didn't feel rushed. Ladies catching up can sometimes take awhile.. and not once did we feel like we needed to finish up. Our food was great and our server was very pleasant. Would definitely try more from the expansive menu"

"$27 for a medium lasagna that had mediocre bland sauce, cheese only on the top and hardly any meat. Would be happy to spend the money if it was a tasty hearty lasagna but not for something I can throw together in 10 minutes."
