"I had a dinner with my wife at Brasserie Brunel, as I was a guest in the Royal Hotel. The food was incredibly good (seriously, I'm not joking: a straight out of and the staff were so polite and respectful that made us...really feel good during the dinner. My choices were the camembert for starter, then the lamb and a creme brulé for dessert. All were great, but seeing the couple in the other table ordering the Eton Mess made me want to try that too."

"I will start with my review...5 stars for a bistro outside it’s original place (France and for a chain restaurant is somehow difficult for me but I had a very pleasant and remarkable experience. The location in bath is great (car park nearby , the restaurant has a cosy and warmfull atmosphere which extend to the friendliness and kindness of the employer (Daniel...well done! . Service was fast and effective with kindness from all staff. The menu build up for 1,2 or 3 courses with attractive prices and outstanding quality and presentation. My experience was at lunch time, week day and it was completely full (which adds up for the review as it can get messy once you have a busy restaurant"

"I had a really nice creamy flat white here. The customer service was friendly and the setting was peaceful. Above all I love the fact that this coffee shop is supporting a charity and not just making some corporation richer. They've really invested in some...great artisan coffee too."

"Set in a classic Bath terraced building, the restaurant has two halves accessed by going into the back of the restaurant and curling back out for the second half. The rooms sort of wrap around the main entrance door and staircase to the building (the...door is separate for the residents upstairs). We were meeting friends and looking forward to a good evening. The food didn’t disappoint however we felt that the service was a tad dismissive and overly slow there was absolutely no chance of feeling rushed. On top of that, every time the door was opened we were subjected to an ice cold blast of wind. It also felt as if too many places were crammed into the restaurant a table or two less would have given a more relaxed atmosphere. If you can bear that, the food was worth it."

"Unexpectedly pleasing, we wanted to go to kelston round hills, but could not park near and decided to have a look at the cheese shop that has much more than just cheese. there is also a footpath that leads behind to the bristol Bath cycle and the river bank on the other side of the saltford marina. toasties were great, rose wein was excellent, the cake might be a bit heavy, but beautiful, top day out!"

"Me and the family are off to fuertaventura tomorrow so we decided to eat here... glad we did... it's an old school pub who only serves lite bites before then after till the full food is on... to be honest the service...from the bar maids was great.. realy nice people... the food was also realy nice, my son said his steak was amazing which is great praise from him to be honest.... next time we fly from bristol airport we will definitely be coming for the food and drinks first!..."

"The drive from the Jurassic coast back to Birmingham was always going to require a stopover. It’s not like the journey there, when the anticipation of the sea breeze takes over and five hours in rush hour traffic doesn’t seem too bad an idea. The trip back to reality is a gruel where work and bills and air pollution await. We needed somewhere that isn’t a Welcome Break to recharge our internal batteries. To take stock of reality. To bemoan that nauseating fool in the office who will ruin the holiday mood first thing Monday morning."

"This stall has moved from previous location to opposite the park (not far from Hotel Indigo hotel where we stay) This place is amazing incredible food and service from the team. The queues are worth enduring as the food is totally worth it."
