"I’ve been making monthly trips to Carpinteria for over a year. Thank goodness I discovered Carp Kitchen early on. It’s my first stop after I arrive to buy my favorite items, supplies and WINE! Deb is the owner/chef and she carries the best wines in town at the best prices. She knows the vineyard owners of many of the varietals, so that is a plus. She also has exceptional price points on exceptional wines. There is food to go, dining in on the back patio or a bistro seat at the front door. Everything I’ve had there is excellent, but I am addicted to the egg salad and her homemade aioli. Lastly, she hires well! The woman who will greet you and take your order is my favorite reason to go. Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!"

"The town of Carpinteria is not only home to The World 's Safest Beach but also a new art cafe called Lost Found. For those who are familiar with the show Schitt 's Creek, I would compare Lost Found to Rose Apothecary. Instead of David and Patrick, you have two sisters named Susan and Patty who warmly welcome you in. While one could describe it as a 'general store, ' others would think it isn 't so 'general '. It is a communal coffee shop in that making that hopes to allow everyone to come in and find themselves. The ultimate goal is to be open seven days a week selling a wide variety of things, including: -Specialty dark roast French coffee with milk -Freshly made goodies (including chocolate chip cookies, brownies, and an assortment of chocolate-dipped ginger, apricots and more) -Home decor and products (lotions, candles, fragrances) -Locally made art pieces, stationery and more! You can 't help but notice the space 's focal point of a gorgeous tropical-framed painting or all the local art that yells Carpinteria! I am truly excited to see this business grow and expand with the plans to have outdoor seating--particularly during these difficult times."

"Absolutely amazing food. One of the best breakfasts I have ever had. Everything was homemade from the jelly, and Pico de Gallo, to the home fries. Quality was top notch. Delicious Bloody Mary"s. The service was outstanding. Everyone was so helpful and we did not have to wait for anything even on a busy Sunday morning. Would Absolutely recommend this place 110"

We did a Cinco De Mayo themed class cooked ate delicious food with an excellent group of people.Our experience at HEAT overwheingly exceeded our expectations. "Just my favorite breakfast and lunch in the world! The French toast is the best I ever had, as well as the hot links. The waiting staff is so friendly and helpful. Esau is the best place to relax and enjoy a small piece of paradise (and four slices of French toast)."
