"We were wandering around looking for a restaurant that could seat the 8 of us and took a chance. The restaurant was full except for a table that looked to hold 6 people but they were kind enough to offer it to us. It was a tight fit but very worth it.We let the waitress select our wine and both the red and white were very good and reasonably priced (20-25 euros). Our food was excellent, my schnitzel was perfect and everyone else raved about their meals. ( This may get repetitive, this is the first of 3 consecutive nights of really great dinners and therefore 3 great reviews).I am not sure what more to say, go there and order anything and I am sure that you will be very happy.9"

"Hervorragendes Restaurant am Ortseingang von Cochem. Genau gegenüber der Seilbahn gelegen.Schönes Ambiente im Lokal und auch eine kleine Terrasse ist vorhanden.Das Essen läßt keine Wünsche offen.Die Bedienungen sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ein gepflegtes Bier oder einen guten Moselwein gibt es natürlich auch. Darüber hinaus haben Sie dort auch tollen Kuchen im Angebot, so dass man sich dort rundum verwöhnen lassen kann.Auch Zimmer zum Übernachten gibt es dort. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Man kann Onkel Willi nur wärmstens empfehlen, da er sich von den meisten Lokalen deutlich abhebt."

"First of all, a real rapist this hotel! We arrived at the hotel, and I got the feeling of peace. The hotel is beautifully placed between the mountains/ hills, remotely without direct neighbors. The hotel looks beautiful, cared and characteristic from the outside, with a nice and cozy terrace outside. Inside, the hotel is also very nice to see. Smooth and cozy. The room was neat, plenty and very important, the beds were delicious. Everything did it to belong, too, TV, bathroom etc and a nice-looking balcony with a nice view of the woods/hives. The staff was very kind. Quick service and were always ready for you. Good luck, too. English speaking. In for a nice chat, they were, too. So, the best experience of the hotel was the 4-course menu every night. We chose a half-pension. The food was varied and you could taste it was made with love. By the way, make up the plates. Also, we were full of food every night, so more than enough. We got two for dishes with bread, you could choose between two main dishes of meat or fish and a delicious dessert and make everything perfectly. Just before dinner, I'd come back. ! The environment is beautiful and you've got a lot of walking routes right next to your hotel. Definitely worth exploring the area there. The town of Cochem was at a nice distance from the hotel. 15 minutes of walking, doing fine and a very cozy town. Also the rest of the swamp environment is exploring rent than a bike, which we also rented at a store in Cochem, or go with the car.1 tip for the hotel! Appear to the doors/ windows @balkon. In the surrounding area, big boys were called "horners' large wasps" who felt very attracted to the light from our hotel room, which allowed us to open our doors/ windows to air in the night. So for the people who are like death to these kind friends, it's nice to keep them out. Even though this hotel is a real hitter and we're definitely planning on coming back. Top experience! ! !"
