"Delightful cafe/restaurant with outside seating and that certain French ambience. We have visited here a few times over the last couple of years and the standards are consistently high. Le Petit Chou offers delightful sorbets and ice-creams as well cakes and a fuller menu. They even offer a gluten free brownie. Would highly recommend."

"We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food at this hotel restaurant. We sat outside on the terrace and young girl who served us was very friendly. We can speak some french, but she was so nice and tried to say some words in english to us. We choose one of the 3 course menus and we really enjoyed all the courses. The trout I ordered was boned and very fresh and my husband's steak was excellent. Overall we would recommend this nice restaurant."

"We went here as a family, my Dad is hard to please when it comes to dining out, and I was a little bit apprehensive. However I needn't have worried, for starter he had the soup, more than one bowl of it. For his main...he had the usual steak and chips, his steak was exactly as he wanted it. When we were leaving we met the chef at the bar and he was very friendly and talkative. The waitress was not as friendly or attentive but she was busy and I think she may have been worried about serving an English family in case none of us spoke French, I do and I like to practise it as often as I can, even if it is not perfect. We were all happy with our meal and my Dad had no complaints either."

"We loved the park and all the activities offered by the hotel: heated and indoor swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, gym, tennis court, mini golf even if we only took advantage of the swimming pool. We looked forward with pleasure to the breakfasts taken each morning under the century-old trees. The advantages: its on-site facilities, air conditioning and the terrace of our room, its park, its proximity to the Lot river, restaurants, shops and ESPECIALLY the kindness of the staff, the management and the Grandpa who waters the flowers Cons: room a little outdated... it would be enough to patinate the furniture from the 50s/60s (they are becoming trendy again), replace the slipper bathtub with a shower and complete with a little trendy decor"
