"Lovely situation right beside the sea, unassuming and friendly welcome from young waiter who took pains to try and explain the dishes: service was good and prompt. Fish soup with rouille and toasts was good; I liked the estabeche but it was too full of...fiddly bones for my partner (and a bit too dry . Nice flan for pudding. Compared to other fish restaurants in Cap Corse, seemed a bit pricey for the type/quantity of dishes (and some menu offerings were odd: why would you drive twenty or more kilometres over difficult roads to a Rough Guide-recommended fish restaurant and then order a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel with chips? Looking at the pictures inside the restaurant while my partner paid the bill I received a rather frosty challenge from Madame in the kitchen, and I fear my explanation barely passed muster ... hardly the friendly Anglo-French welcome promised in the Rough 'Guide!"
