"The owner served us late one evening and she was delightful! We loved the energy in the place, fast and friendly service, fantastic drinks, and delicious food. I ordered a pasta with scallops that were perfectly seared and the sauce was amazing. My husband loved his food so much I didn't get to try it, and the soup he got as an app was the best soup I've had in ages. You've got to try this place!"

"We always have a great experience at this point. Regrettably that the family video is closed next door and there is no ride through, but they have a nice inside to go the cakes / ice cream and sit an outside area and enjoy treats."

"Generally 3 aisles of shelved items. There's a small produce section. Large containers of seasoning, grain powders and spices, which can make it look much dirtier than it might be. They have olives in a bar to pick from out in the open. There are dried fruit behind the front counter. The butcher department is decently sized. There's so many things to look at and choose from, it's rather overwhelming. The staff mostly left me alone. Two of the staff members were talking at the front counter and we're chatting. I was going to ask them some questions, but I just stood there for a good minute or two with no one looking over at me at all. I suppose most of the people that come here know what the heck they're looking for and don't need to ask questions? It's definitely a good spot to get all of your key ingredients for any Middle Eastern fare or any kind of mediterranean food."

"It is always a treat to enjoy a breakfast at Recipes on Haggerty Road and this past Sunday's breakfast was no exception. Having enjoyed breakfast fare at this restaurant on a frequent basis since my first visit last year, I have never been disappointed in either the service or the food. The owners and the entire staff definitely want to make sure that their patrons enjoy a wonderful dining experience.! On each occasion that I entered this restaurant, I have always been greeted with a smile and shown to a table. It should come as no surprise that I always arrive around 8:30am as by approximately 9:00am, the tables are filled and people are waiting to be seated. On this past Sunday, upon being seated, Jenn, who has served us before, appeared at our table with her usual engaging smile as she handed us two menus while inquiring if we would enjoy a cup of coffee. Throughout our meal, the hot coffee flowed just like our conversation. The coffee is the best coffee that I have ever enjoyed in this area. This is not a restaurant where you wait for minutes for a refill of coffee or for a server to come to your table. The servers continuously walk around the tables in the restaurant either refilling empty cups of the patrons or inquiring if patrons would like something else to enjoy. This past Sunday, my friend and I did not deviate from our usual breakfast choices. Within minutes, my friend was served a stack of pancakes topped with fresh strawberries, whipped cream and maple syrup flowing down the sides with a side of ham. His breakfast looked like it was ready for the cover photo shoot of Bon Appetit. He raved about the pancakes and the ham. My Tooka omelet was, as usual, delicious. The same was true for the rye toast and breakfast potatoes that came with my omelet. This is a great spot to enjoy breakfast any day of the week. Although I have never enjoyed luncheon at Recipes, I did review the food offerings and they all looked delicious. If you find yourself in the vicinity of Haggerty Road between 13 and 14 Mile Roads and looking for a place to enjoy breakfast or lunch, head directly to Recipes. You will not be disappointed!"

"Standard Diner tariff with large service. The food is fresh and quite expensive. The herbal Fiesta Omelette and Omelette with Chili are decent. Hash and potato saucers are great! French toast with cream cheese filling and strawberries is excellent for a fair price. Overall: no complaints!"

"A group of us were in town for the Battery Show and looked for a local Lebanese restaurant for dinner out. We decided to try La Kabob and let?s just say it was a fantastic experience! The waiter was super responsive, the food was fresh and hot, the salad was well prepared (loved the spiced dressing!! , the dishes were well presented, and there were plates of plentiful amounts of food. We had hummus, garlic dip (great smooth garlic hit , Baba ganoush(awesome smokey flavor, meat dolma, and then split the large platter for 6-8 which was an amazing amount of food (shawarma, kabob, Kafka, shish tawook, and more . We had plenty of takeout to enjoy later. Loved the homemade pita from the brick oven. We also got some of the blended juices and they were very good. Highly recommended restaurant. The location is very unassuming. We will be back for sure next year and will recommend to others visiting to the novi area! Pardon the run on review but still recovering from the garlic and meat sweats!! Yum!"
