"On busy evenings it gets very loud in this restaurant. I went there twice with a group (I was invited). The first time, they told us, that we should either all eat pizza or all chose something from the kitchen otherwise the order would...get too complicated. They did not tell this when my friend got the reservation. The food is ok but nothing more. The second time (other group) they got very angry because my colleague made a reservation for 13 people but only 12 came. In my opinion this was not very professional. Even more as they had already prepared a table with very little space, so even 12 was too cramped."

"Nous étions 4 amies et nous avions réservé via le passeport gourmand une semaine à l'avance. Lors de la réservation nous devions déjà précisé ce que nous voulions manger, ce qui s'avère difficile lorsqu'on ne connaît pas la carte et que nous sommes là pour découvrir ... Dès notre arrivée, la serveuse ne s'est pas montré d'une grande sympathie. Elle nous a pris le passeport gourmand et il s'en est suivi par la suite pleins d'ennuis. Il n'acceptait pas de nous servir car sur le passeport gourmand était marqué deux noms de famille ... ce qui est un crime je l'admet. Une amie étant aussi détentrice d'un passeport gourmand, nous avons demandé s'ils l'accceptaient. Ils ont hesité car la reservation avait été effectué sous le premier passeport. Finalement la seule condition était de fournir une pièce d'identité. Depuis quand doit-on montrer nos papiers pour manger ??? Le patron s'est bien volontiers caché derrière sa serveuse, qui servait d'intermédiaire pour nous transmettre les volontés de celui-ci. Il ne s'est montré que lorsque nous sommes parties pour nous lancer un commentaire plutôt insultant. Nous sommes reparties déçues et sûre d'une chose nous ne remettrons jamais les pieds là-bas !!!"

"Earlier this year I was in Restaurant Schild in Friebourg so for a change my daughter and I tried Le Sauvage but when we walked in it was as if Schild had moved and indeed it had. Same staff, manager and chef. Delighted to report though that the food and service are both still first class. Well wort a visit."

"This restaurant really is a gem and if you haven't been there, then you really should! It is very difficult to get in for dinner because it is so popular so either be organised and book early, go mid-week or go for lunch. The food is delicious and also very good value. Anyhow we just had another lovely lunch with friends and family - perfect :-)"

"This restaurant and grill is owned by Portuguese immigrants, therefore the majority of the clientele is Portuguese. and a very friendly baptism people they are also! to find the restaurant, they probably need to be the address in the satnav as...es in a residential area and is next to a super market (coop). eating is quite simple (as grill), but very good I can recommend any of the grilled meat dishes and the wine list carries some excellent Portuguese weine, which they will not find easily in this part of the world."
