"Arrived at 1:00 pm, there was nothing and no one cared about wanting to reconstitute the buffet and the missing dishes...We asked, but it seemed to upset them.We eat at noon for 11 euros, we hope when we even have rice and nems! A minimum! Don't go with shoes you're holding on, all the floor sticks with overturned sauces. It's been 2 years since we went there from time to time and we noticed that things were falling down as they went, certainly not profitable enough and so they wanted to go to the economy ... ben for us they went to lose us! I wouldn't put my feet there anymore. honestly, you're on your way."

"Called in for a long lazy lunch. Fantastic the whole ambience of the place is excellent. The furniture the detail gone into the decor is excellent. This set the the standard what to expect of the food. Not to be let down the food arrived. Of course the food was outstanding, the presentation was 1st class, staff friendly business like. The entire experience was superb."

"Stopped of here for lunch and although we were a little late we were able to have lunch. Service was excellent, food was terrific. Prices were very good. Chocolates served with coffee, a really lovely lunch ,highly recommended if you are in the area ."

"Really lovely crepes in this simple and unassuming restaurant. We went there for lunch, and I had a delicious galette with bacon, potato and gruyere cheese while my husband had the smoked salmon with potato, creme and chives. There is a huge range of both savoury and sweet crepes on offer, the service was pleasant and friendly, and the price was really reasonable. It's also located only a couple of minutes walk from the Office de Tourisme and thus very close to the center of town. We will definitely be visiting many more times!"

"The Chez Fernand is on the west side of Gaillac 3 miles or so from the Albi-Toulouse motorway and it is surounded by ample free parking. The restaurant offers very good value family cooking and has a remarkably broad range of food ranging from salads, croques and omelettes to main dishes like brochettes of duck and entrecote stake. There are about 18 main meat dishes for example. We have tried a number of these and they have always been freshly cooked, very tasty and good value for money. The staff go out of their way to make you welcome and make a pont of coming over to say hello even if they are not serving your part of the restaurant. The service is quick but not too quick; you can have a three course meal in about an hour but there is no problem if you want to take more time. The restaurant is quite large, usually busy and confortably furnished. It is an ideal place for a family on the move, a workday lunch or a very pleasant no-frills meal at any other time. We will certainly continue to go there."
