"We went to eat the bottom this summer, we were late and on the end of service (anyone in the restoration would have been anointed in such a situation which is normal) we were exceptionally well received, the atmosphere was super friendly and the food. the price is more than correct for a taste to fall on the ground. We took half the card, all the dishes were as good as each other! really a must-see place in the region! ps: they speak Russian, we had russ among us they were surprised and happy to see that someone spoke russ."

"An unmissable address in guethary, but unfortunately it's less than it was. post-wave covid prices have crowded while the good mood of staff has fallen. the menus and the map remain correct."

"We have visited this restaurant quite a few times. In our experience there is nowhere better in the area for reliable fine dining. The menu is well constructed and the staff are consistently helpful and efficient. The wine list is high quality but allows for good mid-priced options. Just a great place to take visiting friends to impress. Local rivals might produce as good food on occasion but can be inconsistent either in quality or service. The atmosphere is not informal but is very relaxed and the ambience very good both outdoors when the weather allows or indoors."

"Wonderful evening meal with cider on tap. Cider comes free of charge with your meal. There is a choice of dry or very dry. The big feature is that you pour it yourself from huge vats set into one wall. Turn the tap and it...shoots out giving the chance to fill your glass with a flourish of showmanship. (Other drinks are available. The food is straightforward, with fish (locally caught cod served straight or in an omelette. And then there is the piece de resistance, cote de boeuf main course served with frites. This was cooked to perfection, nicely pink inside, and even 4 teenagers agreed it was delicious and kept asking for more. Restaurant looked unexceptional from the outside but long tables and good locals (incl families support made the atmosphere inside feel authentic and the experience very enjoyable."

"Great atmosphere that covers the mediocre dish and service. This restaurant gets crowded so go early or make a reservation. I ordered moule with potato. The dish itself was not the best I had but the atmosphere compensated si much my stay. I took the last standing table since it was all booked when the waitress have me the choice but she just did not say anything about how it works. It's sort of self service for stand up table. I ended waiting fur a long time waiting for someone come with a menu or get my order. The food was not that good. The moule was very small, the sauce was not that good. I recommend you take a short walk down to the sea. And watch the surfing. There are 2 more restaurants further down,"
