"The menu includes some typical German food, although prepared with some touch of originality. In addition, some French (?!) dishes may represent an interesting alternative for tourists and businessmen (and even native Germans !) needing something different. Anyway, any dish tried was absolutely well prepared and gorgeous.A variety of draft or bottled beers are of course the first options, but some German and French wines are also on the list. Service is superb, friendly and very careful.Original and pleasant location full of strange and rare finds which justify the name ...Das Kleine Museum !Appropriate the bill..."

"The restaurant is tucked into a quiet part of town. The dining area is beautifulthe furnishings, table settings, and lighting are first ratetruly an ideal atmosphere for a fine mealwith one exception: the scraping and washing at the sink behind the bar sometimes disturbs the...peace. The meal began with warm bread and three spreads, two of which were very good, and one of which, the olive butter, was to die for! Amazing. The lobster soup was fantastic, with a perfectly roasted scallop resting in the middle. The soup also included a tiny sandwichmore trouble than it was worth in my estimation, as its subtle flavor was completely overwhelmed by the soup. Among the main courses, the veal was tremendous: juicy, tender, flavorful, surrounded by just the right amount of subtle accents. The accompanying wine was perfect. Then came the dessert. Billed as a chocolate dessert, it was actually a small scoop of very delicious mango ice cream attended by a small bit of dry, essentially flavorless chocolate cake and an assortment of dry, flavorless chocolate tidbits. For ten euros! At the Italian gelato shop around the corner, I can get a much larger scoop of delicious mango ice cream along with a tasty cone for one euro. And I can go for a walk with it! The little scoop of mango ice cream at Hindenburg deserves a nice slab of rich, dark, decadent, flourless chocolate cake, or a warm, gooey, decadent chocolate soufflé. The staff was charming and attentive throughout the evening"
