"Amazing for dessert lovers. I’ve tried pretty much the entire menu, the crepes, the waffles, the cookie dough, ice creams and shakes! Love them! Also the staff, in particular the manager, is so friendly ! Highly recommended for dessert lovers or someone who would like to have a coffee and just work on their laptops!"

"Door staff are complete idiots. Any group without women are turned away for being “too drunk”. This was the previous time. I shied away from leaving a review the previous time because we may have been too drunk. But I know we were not. Today, we were turned away with the pub empty after being told the previous pub we’d been in had kicked us out. Complete lies, as Wetherspoons just up the road have lovely, friendly door staff that don’t lie for no reason and are completely okay and so friendly with us. We do not cause any problems. The door staff today had a person with them with no identification that decided he was going to be physical with myself for asking the question why we were not allowed in. I was in no way physical. But this certain person pushed me forcefully three times and made up a complete lie that I was threatening them, what is threatening about one man against 4 bouncers??? We are not desperate for a pub to go in. But the treatment of male customers is appalling in this pub on a Saturday night. Avoid at all cost, unless you’re female… then you’ll be let in straight away because the door staff are sexist and perverts. They are not getting anything out of turning away three normal men but they decide to do so because of their egos and to look like they’re the big men. This review is nothing against the actual place. But if anyone from Whelans is reading this, I think it’s time for some new door staff, they really are awful people. This is not the first time I’ve been turned away without doing anything wrong. I’d understand if I was absolutely battered, but we were not either time. Maybe this is a charitable company and they don’t need the business??? Time for the door staff to lose their egos and stop thinkung they’re Hitler and get over themselves when it comes to male customers. Poor all round and won’t bother again. Door staff obviously being paid stupid money to not worry about actually letting any customers in. Also, being pushed away for zero reason is wrong and next time I’ll take it into my own hands and won’t be manhandled by a man with no ID (claiming he worked there) again. Whelans. Sort your door staff out. Or you will continue to lose business."

"Here a few times before, but in personal hectic conditions so not really much in. earlier here to drink, many years ago, when a pub and then all have changed, but now! perfect place for a quiet meeting...Menu change but always beautiful... decor spot on and staff very attentive friendly and nothing is much. because its not a chain they can change and customize when ness...total recommend...but its is not cheap than its chains, but its not expensive and good value it. parking good and garden beautiful when they have this sunny day. to go forward again....Children friendly"

"I was desperately looking for Mexican food on the terminal 5 of the airport heathrow and did not find any, I finally decided for the giraffe stop. I had to wait about 5 minutes in the waiting queue to get a table. as most people could be in a hurry, they have a directive to serve them their court under 15 minutes. I must say that the service was also quite fast when full occupancy. I had headaches and finally ordered a halloumi and falafel burger. it was simply great with a bowl served next to. fresh calf and apple juice. it was a booster to help me relieve my headache and nausea. "This is a beautiful and quaint cafe restaurant situated down the best road in Uxbridge! Friends and I came here and owner kindly gave us extra vegetable buns, and sweet soda water. Each dish is made with patience and love; there's a super nice, still vibe to this place. Very unique and sweet. Xièxiè!"

"Really stylish, modern place right next to ruislip forest, ruislip lido. great location, they feel like deep in the forests. the restaurant bar looks really nice, made of wood. beautifully decorated. really friendly staff, full of energy. Eating and cocktail are really nice. we ordered to share nachos (big size,) bbg sticky wings and flower flower bits. all were really nice, but not like a wow factor. was good, but they think that the ambiente and the atmosphere are more attractive. had a raspberry cocktail that looked really nice and tasted pretty. the apple juice and the elderflower mocktail were the final of the standout drink! the disappointment was the old-fashioned coctail. she really saw impressive, but lack of taste deep for an old fashion. it tasted more like a medicine. also for a place it is quite expensive. to say that, overall a great place and will definitely go back."
