"Went there for a late dinner (9 pm) and were pleasantly suprised. The waiter was pleasant, we took a good selection of food ranging from vegetables, to fish, to meat and everything was very good. Nice place, we would go there again."

"We were the Christmas days in this hotel and dinner there. the hotel and the breakfast was good, the room was excellent. but eat very badly, especially for christmas. it was made as a mass product without creativity, design or love to surprise the guests. Very... average and defenitiw not worth the seventh ranking at tripadvisor. because of this ranking we booked this hotel. they should be at the lowest place in ranking. so they warn not to eat here, but the booking of a room is in order."

"Wir waren zu zweit zum Mittagessen hier. Glücklicherweise haben wir noch einen Platz auf der Terrasse bekommen, von der man einen schönen Ausblick hat.Der Service ist sehr freundlich und schnell.Das Angebot an Speisen ist groß, die Auswahl fällt einem schwer:-)Wir hatten Ziegenkäse mit Speck an Blattsalat und selbstgemachte Bratwürste mit Bratkartoffeln. Beide Gerichte waren sehr lecker!Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder essen."

"After a nice walk from Titisee to Hinterzarten we enjoyed hot chocolate with Black Forest cherry cake and Apple Pie. Very good quality, nice staff, beautiful environment and good balance of price / quality. We definitely come back for dinner or another big coffee break. A really... beautiful place to stay!"

"Service good, but tense, friendliness: not bad, but stiff, atmosphere ineffective, waiting for something to happen and nothing really happens. these are not black forest guys, but foreigners, although German was perfect, French was whenac e, English was there. the pizza was half-baked. I shouldn't go there anymore. supplement: the previous owners franchise? were a better visit described above august 18 smoky appalachian"
