"Nice place. In any case, this mother and pop place has to feel. Has a long bar with stools and a dining room. The staff was friendly. The food was decent. We recently moved to the area and searched for a cheap breakfast place to go weekly. I think we'll keep looking, but keep Crrekside as a back support."

"Take advantage of this place while you still can get a table. Make your reservation, get the prix fixe, and let the chef take you on a delicious journey.I’ve been multiple times and take every opportunity to go again. The food is always fantastic, different every time, and if I’m being honest should probably cost much more than it does. Hence my suggestion to take advantage while you can.The chef really loves what he does and you can taste it."

"My wife and I have tried giving this place multiple chances. But my goodness the service at KBC is utterly lacking. Every single time too. Which is a shame since the beer is phenomenal and the food is great and the location and atmosphere are uniquely charming. But good luck getting any type of decent customer service if you are not one of the owners' exclusive favorites. If you are not a regular you are destined to suffer long wait times for your orders, un-pleasant interactions with the wait/bar staff or be simply flat out ignored. Every other year we say we will try them again and, without fail, a trip to KBC turns out the same: disappointment. As KSQ locals we want to love them .... but why put up with the elitist attitudes when there are other, actually friendlier options in town?"

"Look, I have visited many of the top restaurants in the region, and as a former restaurant owner, I think have a pretty good understanding of the business and food, so these comments are not made easy. From top to bottom, DIE is the best RESTAURANT I have read everything; the list is long. I went to visit for a while because I wanted to give the place a chance. I didn't hear much fun, but I was aware of the opening. Also I was not impressed by the previous restaurant in a position and unfortunately this plays a role in perception. The concept is directed towards perfection. It is warm and welcoming, but not pretentious. The food is excellent. The pizza is an artwork; You're not gonna find the pizza here anymore. I scanned the menu several times in the last few weeks and was not disappointed in many articles. I wasn't surprised to learn that the chef was known. I could say it. The service is polite. The one male bar Biet has only the perfect personality to be the face of the bar. He's kind, funny and jovial. The service crew is bought and seem to enjoy their jobs. Bad settings by blue collar kill restaurants. This place got this with the exception of a person I wouldn't call out here would like to share my insight with mgt. Manny, the guy who runs the pizza oven is just a master. I'm telling you, it was a pleasure to watch him last night. He's so focused, he takes his craft very seriously. He's a real professional, not one of those people who just come to work. The pizza is perfect in every way. He's a real jewel. So much can be learned from people like Manny, especially the overly privileged and snotty brand in this area. My only handle is the beer menu. Not enough variety. Too many IPAs and light beers. No seasonal, brown or seriously handmade broth. Another advice is from Yelp. Yelpers are cheaper to destroy good business."

"The menu sounded wonderful, but the food fell a bit short. The pig bell was pretty good, the cedar donuts a little too fat. The cookies were hard. Somehow I expected fresh avocado for Hollywood Benedict, but it was a sort of avocado spread. The English muffin was not crispy enough to keep the perfect poched egg, avocado and tomatoes. Hollandaise Sauce was very good. I was told that the breakfast Burrito was very good and the breakfast board was generous in the portions. Steak and eggs were all right. All in all a good meal, not a great one. The ambience was wonderful; we were through the cracking wood fire. All the people who went back and forth to the baby shower drove us through to the other room and it was a little distracting. The service was wonderful. I will probably give Foxfire another attempt, but my friends from the city had a nice memory of our last visit years ago."

"I wanted some nice appetizers to enjoy with a glass of wine/cocktail at the end of the day so picked up a variety of items. The Spinach Artichoke dip is delicious I combined with the Fire Hook Baked Crackers w/Sea Salt I am not a big dip person but this is REALLY GOOD, light and not overwhelming. Also got the marcona almonds, castelvetrano green olives which were a nice compliment to the dip and the Hummingbird cheese (local light and different. Yes! It was pricey! But it was all SO damn good! And took a glass of wine/cocktail to the next level at the end of the day. Highly recommend ;"
