"We had to choose between different restaurants in the same street and we ended up at Delarte. It was a good choice. Good pizza's and lasagna. Service was reasonably fast en friendly. Desert was nice too. Just a fine meal."

"We visited this restaurant as a family, two adults and one child aged We had to wait for a table to be cleared when we arrived (not sure if reservations are required but we didn't have one) although this was because every table...was occupied. The layout is that of a typical Chinese buffet, an area for starters, mains, specialities, desserts, plus an area where the chef cooks your chosen raw ingredients in front of you. The food was replenished regularly and there was always a supply of all the dishes. There were alot more seafood dishes when compared to a UK chinese buffet, but I put this down to the fact that I think French generally eat more seafood that the British. It was nice to see an unusal dish cuisses de grenouilles (battered frogs legs). I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try these, and was pleasantly suprised with them! Meal cost euros including soft drinks and water, so not at all bad. Worth a visit if you are in the area."

"Here for lunch to break our trip to st. malo from the normandie. bright and lively, typical American. the staff was young and very friendly, everything seemed to speak English. four of us had a very nice lunch, main courses each, desserts and coffee, softdrinks. was not too bad. very clean toilets and lots of parking. is on the outskirts of caen."
