"The menu featured three exquisite, delicious vegan options with two being quite unusual: beet and avocado tartare; a chickpea and couscous patty; and spaghetti bolognese. We ordered all three and split them three ways. The service was excellent. The server verified that we wanted plain bread not bread with any dairy or cheese touches."

"Let's say it right away: It's expensive, even for the expensive lugano. because spending 18 chfs for a green tea, a cappuccino and a slice of cheesecake, is perhaps an exaggerated peline. But at the end, ocendo from the club, the satisfaction was there. because tea was not the usual tea, but a great tea; the well done cappuccino (which rare in these parts) and the excellent cheesecake (sinked for the slice a little small.) the quiet, unusual and well maintained environment. So? Yes, it's expensive but I'll be back. I prefer to spend a few extra francs for a place like this rather than spend so much in other places in the area unable to offer quality."

"The grotto is nice and cosy, not very central but close to the center and easily accessible by public transport. we have been kindly served and have fed very well at very reasonable price and enjoyed an excellent tessiner merlot. we will definitely take the grotto grillo back into account at our next Lugano visit. by the way: there is even an extra dining room for smokers."

"This restaurant is so original. the owner is very courteous and the pizza is the best. I wish there were more parking space, but this is not the restaurant problem because this restaurant is located in melide, the parking spaces are already difficult."

"We thought this looked like a nice place to have dinner after a long tiring day, so we walked up to the waiter and asked for a table, but he said we can 't please go . Wow, not sure why he kept refusing when there were...loads of free tables, and in fact 2 tables also got vacated, maybe I was Indian, maybe. But to keep it simple, we were refused service. But since the kids were famished we took takeaway (I was really tired to search for another place and we still had to get back to Zurich). Felt humiliated, to say the least, but I didn 't have the energy to argue why he was refusing to serve us so I just left it at that. But it surely leave a terrible taste in mouth, not the food I mean, this experience, first time ever to happen. And moreover when I could see him sitting other folks so was really perplexed."
