"This is a Saturday morning regular for me. Great coffee, friendly service and THE best scones. I almost don't want to recommend them on here for fear of them becoming scarce. The core business here is coffee and bakery goods, an extensive range of savoury and sweet options which are generally all divine. Credit also needs to go to the cooked breakfasts, a small list with regular specials, its bacon and eggs with fancy chutneys kind of fare. The space is a little tight so at peak times you may struggle to get a table, if that's the case grab your food to go and stroll to the beach for a picnic. Just save a scone for me."

"This is such a hidden gem, quiet dine in with super delicious food on the menu!!! The variety this place offers is just amazing. I loved their noodles, punjabi/kulcha thali, and manchurian. Sizzlers are amazing, too! The list can be endless... Overall, it's a winner always. "This is a lovely little spot to chill, such a cosy coffee spot or a decadent high tea with bubbly. The staff are lovely and attentive. Only annoying thing was the lights go out quite a bit, short circuits? Oh but there were candles on each table so it was ok"

" Cronut? Yes it's that amazing cross between a croissant and a doughnut. And no-one does it better than Jenny's Gourmet Bakery in Parkside. We were lured to Jenny's Gourmet Bakery by the cronut but were impressed by the high quality range of offerings here, as well as the architecture of this iconic bluestone building. This is about fresh house made bread, cakes and pastries that are top notch, as well as a delightful range of savoury treats. Jenny's Gourmet Bakery is one of those icons that's been around as a stunning bakery on Glen Osmond Road for years, but with their renovation they have come into the spotlight more in recent times as a delighful place to visit. After a renovation Jenny's Gourmet Bakery has been the perfect place for the Parkside set to visit for catch ups, with the courtyard a compelling place to imbibe and relax with friends. You may find it hard to decide on what treats to enjoy here, as we did. We want it all! Imbibing the cronut in the courtyard, with Glen Osmond Road the backdrop. Tasty lunch options included this Croque Monsieur with rewarding melted cheese and thick cut bread. Importantly the coffee is excellent here, a good thing, as Bar 9 is across the road. We were also impressed by the engaging service here with the staff exuding a positive disposition. What amused us is that many customers just stood in front of the display cabinet staring just checking out the large range of spectacular items. Kudos in itself for Jenny's Gourmet Bakery. "

"We popped in for breakfast and of course, had to have the Croque Monsieur. In terms of toasted sandwiches this was right up there the cheese oozed out, good bread and ham. The side salad was also nicely dressed. Excellent coffee. Keen to return for the raclette."

"Love their dessert, ice cream, coffee, drinks and everything. Yes I do agree the price is on the higher side but at the same time they allow customers to sit as long as they can and food and drinks are tasty so I have to give them 5 stars. You pay as low as a few dollars for coffee up to 20-30 for dessert and you can sit couple of hours with friends. What more can you expect? Have been here a couple of times now I did find staff were friendly. Will definitely come back and support local businesses."
