"Had the all day breakfast. . . no coffe refill (or the waitress just didn't offer,) had to pay extra for home fries. Toast was good, fresh bread. A typical all day breakfast."

"Stopped in for breakfast and glad we did! Had the veggie and cheese omelette with delicious toast (I chose marble rye - amazing.)! They have fresh bread on site with lots of flavours to choose from. The meal also came with home fries nicely seasoned. The omelette was full of veggies and just enough cheese. Coffee was good too. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again!"

"This is a lovely little family restaurant in downtown Owen Sound, Delaware. My friend and I were in town with our kids on the weekend to escape from the big city. The food is good and the service is excellent. We enjoyed eating there because...the atmosphere is non-hurried and we had the chance to relax and interact. The menu is kids-friendly. Will come back."

"On a whim, we dropped in for supper last night and are very glad we did. It was a cozy atmosphere, great service and the food from the delicious warm dinner roll through the entire meal was excellent!"

"I haven't been to Swiss chalet in like 10 years . And the last time I was there it was awful . But we decided to give it a go in Owen sound with our two kids . Our server Landon was fantastic! Very helpful with the menu , incredibly quick and friendly. He made our dining experience golden. Our kids had chicken and fries / the portion was perfect for a 7 and 4 year old. I had the pesto pasta which was super yum and a very large portion ( took some home ) and my husband had the chicken dinner which he enjoyed . It was caesar Sunday which obviously was a bonus ! The food came out very fast and we had no complaints. The only thing I would suggest would be updating the booths and decor. Definitely needs a Reno. We had a great dinner and our kids loved it. Recommend absolutely"

"My husband and I enjoyed a nice evening out. I ordered a root beer float and they even made the mug nice and frosty so the drink was nice and cold. Ordered the flowering onion and it was delicious. My husband had the french onion soup and a beer. We both had the steak special for dinner. Was very tasty and done exactly how we wanted it. For dessert I had a caramel pecan flan and my husband the infamous snow ball. It was all delicious and we left so stuffed. They also had a live guitarist play. Service was great and the waitress very attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening."

"This was our second time as a family going to this Wendy’s in Owen Sound. The first time we had really prompt and efficient drive thru service, even though it was prime time lunch hour rush @1pm. We all had cheeseburgers and fries. The burgers were fresh but the fries were not as hot or fresh! This last time we went, it was also during the lunch hour rush. Once agin prompt efficient service while ordering and picking up, unfortunately this time I decided to have their avocado chicken salad. I remembered how much I used to enjoy Wendy’s Asian chicken salad with almond slivers. I was highly disappointed when I opened my salad, on top of the wilted spring mix was a massive plop of mushy green guacamole, with mush diced tomatoes, and a small pile of dried mozzarella cheese. The chicken was seared looking but not thoroughly cut through. I was quite ill the next day from it! I recommend Wendy’s burgers but definitely not their salads. A definite thumbs down on their salads"

"This is a usually good place to go..and still is I guess. The owner has jacked the prices to the point that we don't go as much anymore. Example 9 0z wine is $17 bucks, Inn on the Bay is $12 and just as good. The prime rib is now $35 and $44 for the lg size, trouble is the portioning is out of whack. One day the $34 version is almost the size of the $44 version, and, viceversa, works both ways as I have found. But one thing, the draft beer is outstanding, never flat, and always cold, so I can overlook some of the food problems for a good cold draft. Wings and ribs always good, last week the fish and chips were overcooked, dark brown with a heavy skin on 2 small pcs of fish for $20. But the Covid thing may be affecting with help etc so i am willing to keep trying again."
