"There is nothing asianic about this place. it is much too salty. the fried rice tastes much like ingwer. the only edible thing on this menu were the fries and the white rice. it is as if it were an Asian fusion restaurant apologising the bad taste. also the service for a “high-end” restaurant was not great. very cute interior. I'd just go for drinks or dessert. the rest should be reassessed and amended."

"Pope's once again did not disappoint! We enjoyed a lovely dinner in a cozy, romantic spot. I can think of few lovelier places to have a great fall/winter dinner. The PBJ fois gras appetizer is absolutely delicious and perfectly portioned to share as a starter. The special that night rockfish was cooked perfectly and served over a lovely crabmeat infused stuffing. The filet was cooked beautifully and spoon tender. Unfortunately, we didn't save room for dessert, but the temptation was terribly strong! Service was attentive, friendly, and wonderfully paced. We recommend Pope's to our friends and continue to consider it one of the best."
