The proprietor cooked all her own food fresh, recipes learned from her grandmother in traditional French style. Relaxed, welcoming and quirky with delicious food, promptly served. What a...find! "We booked this restaurant for the evening to celebrate a special occassion. We had the whole restaurant for our party of 34 guests. We had a fantastic meal that was beautifully presented espicially the way the two desserts had been personalised with beautiful marzipan designs.We highly recommended the Bergerie as a place for large groups as well as a very good quality everyday lunchtime restaurant. It has an excellent chef who serves freshly cooked quality food at reasonable prices"

"Nice cafe style with more seating upstairs. The menu was very short (not a criticism) and we opted for the home made burger and sautéed potatoes. The burger tasted really nice, the potatoes were plentiful for a lunchtime meal. The quiche looked like a good...option also. We shared the two desserts of panacotta and a pear crumble. This was a very well attended venue with "ladies who lunch" and plenty of hipsters in attendance. I would say that you would not be out of place if you had children with you as well though. We paid each which included a soft or hot drink. Alcohol available at an additional cost. The staff will try to help in English if you struggle with French. You will realise the significance of the name when you see the cartoons on the wall"

"On the way to our holiday, we found this little restaurant on the thumb and we were not disappointed .map full of good products, we took the dish of the day and a omelette . very reasonable price, quick and warm staff."

"My wife and I love this restaurant!We ourselves are restauranteurs in a neighboring town and whenever we want to go out for a good meal, we go here. They really nailed the midieval theme. Every detail; The food, the drinks, the decor, the music; everything is midieval themed and done well, for once.The owners are incredibly welcoming and the food is fresh, well seasoned and super delicious. I couldn't say a bad thing about this restaurant, even if I wanted to."

"Good food, wine, service and ambiance. We sat out on the terrace and were welcomed without a reservation on a Friday evening. Enstone enjoyed their meal. The house red was not good, no worries to say so and the owner replaced the small carafe with...a full bottle!"

"We went back to this little restaurant for our wedding anniversary, I had a better memory of this establishment, service not really worthy of a gourmet restaurant, our dishes were good but nothing exceptional, on the other hand the desserts were sumptuous, as to the frame nothing to do with our first visit, sober and pretty"
