"We had only an hour to eat, the location is great and food was tasty : french fries and their sauce are excellent! The cafe gourmand was a great selection as well, service was good too so will be back!!!"

"A friendly welcome and service, decor was casual but smart, offered indoor (upstairs and ground) and outdoor (courtyard) tables.We were offered bread and a wonderful amuse bouche and ordered our wine by the glass, all of a very high standard.The lunch offered both a menu du jour or a la carte, but we opted for the menu of the day which was cod with mixed seasonal vegetables followed by a home baked apple tart. Including the wine it was keenly priced at €22 per person.What a great experience, comes highly recommended and certainly a place we would return to enjoy again."

"This restaurant is owned and run by a husband and wife team: she, front of house; he in the kitchen. And what a beautiful meal we had, every course perfectly cooked and the presentation of my dessert--a wonderful chocolate mousse (tower) on a poached pear with sorbet--was as delicious as it was to look at.Prices were very reasonable with some interesting opportunities to structure the total cost vis your choice of course.A hearty recommendation."

"We had lunch here on market day (Wednesday) when the restaurant was packed with shoppers and stall-holders (so we were glad we'd rung ahead.) For 15 Euros each we had: delicious cheese tart (Beaufort, of course) or terrine and either diots (local sausages) or trout, with either pommes dauphinoises or pasta gratin. It was a good thing that we went for the 'starter main' choice and didn't order a dessert, because there is no way we could have made room for one. In fact, we couldn't finish all the pasta, good as it was. (This was probably the first time in our lives we have ever been too full to finish a meal.) The coffee wasn't very good, but we felt we'd had good value."
