"This was the food treat of the month if not the year! At €200 per person, needs an occasion. We told them that we do not eat meat and they came up with adjustments to the standard menu (no a la carte here) to give us, Langoustine, Lobster and lobster claws, Rouget and Turbot. In other words a tour of the fish considered to be the best. Fish is lightly cooked even shellfish although you can ask for more cooking time. And overall it was wonderful. Service is as you would expect, discrete and friendly."

"Absolutely beautiful food both in taste and presentation. We had the "plaisir" menu to taste lots of things , and focusing on local fish and buckwheat this menu delivered diverse, exceptional and unusual combinations of mainly fish and seafood. Lovely amuse bouche to start, best selection of different kind of bread- squid ink, seaweed, cheese and ham, buckwheat- and perfectly sized portions, lovely light and not sweet pudding and fantastic wine list with helpful advice from the sommelier. Lovely food, lovely service, the decor needs to be rethought, just as the food is all of local provenance I'd love to see the local pigment dyed linen, driftwood etc used to compliment the mood of the food, at the moment it's a collision not a compliment, but didn't detract from the dining experience which is after all what we were there for !"

"Hard to fault. Fantastic French seafood restaurant on the beach in Finisterre. Fantastic location to watch the surfers just outside the window whilst enjoying amazing French cooking. The food is superb and the Fruits de Mer definetly worth it for the experience alone. Great service. Friendly and attentive. Cost is good with a three course meal at €40. This included a Fruits de Mer, Steak and Creme Brulle desert. Top notch cuisine and an amazing experience. Parking: Right outside the restaurant Kid-friendliness: Good choices and smaller portions for under 12"

"We have had three meals here recently and each time have had an excellent experience. Given the exceptional setting the cheapest menu is excellent value but it is worth going for the dearer menu at 26.90 euros as this has a really good choice of seafood starters. crabs, langoustine etc, and a greater choice of main courses. Try and get a window site so you can enjoy the amazing view of the bay de Douarnenez."
