"Family dinner on Thursday noon. A quality of service and a freshness and originality of dishes as rarely found. The prices are too low given the quality. I took a menu at 25€. 3 dishes plus 1 mouth and 2 rinses. It's worth double. Too bad they're so far from my home or I'll go on a regular basis."

"Small super pleasant restaurant held by a charming couple. a good value for money on redon. menu on slate with a possible choice. diversity in menus and in the search for foods. it is a traditional cuisine and "homemade," a delight has every bite, from the entrance to the dessert. an excellent address for a lunch. "We were advised this restaurant. All in all, the dishes are good. We took Entrance/Plat/Dessert. The hot goat salad was very good. the savoyard cake also but much too much sauce, and the dessert we liked the presentation in the cup (see photo) but a small portion would have been appreciated. However, the service leaves to be desired. Overall, it’s pretty fast, but the staff wasn’t pleasant, can be personal problems, but we shouldn’t feel it at the table."

"During the student holidays we had a short stay in Redon and a few restaurants were closed and taken a break. Fortunately, “The Wooden Spoon” was not one of them. Make sure you book at the time we arrived for our 19:30 reservation, the place was packed.... Excellent food, nicely cooked and served with a smile. It was all we wanted to enjoy in rural France."
