"The Braz has had many owners over the years, changing hands regularly and unfortunately failing to find the winning formula, unlike many of its rivals. That said its a good place to go for a drink, to sit and watch the world go by and the free wi fi is a bonus, but I wouldn't bother eating here!"

"A lovely lunch with Fred and Fred. A generous portion of fresh and tasty gazpacho served with a bowl of taboulé. Just what the hot weather demanded. Then a superb crème brûlée, delicately flavoured with orange, with the brûlée done at the table. A shady terrace, a warm welcome and great coffee to finish. We will be regular customers."

"This small but pleasant bistro offers an asian style menu of mainly curries. Our table of six were well managed by the English Owner/front of house person. The service was prompt the food was hot and tasty. My beef curry melted in my mouth and whilst spicy, did not have too much heat. Everyone enjoyed the meal and we were much taken by the ingenious solution to fitting the chairs over the large step running across the front of the restaurant!"

"We have been several times now, and each time the menu du jour or menu 'impro' has been fresh, creative, delicious, and full of light creative touches that bespeak a generosity of spirit in the kitchen. If that were not enough, each time la patronne has recommended an inexpensive carafe wine that was impressive and just right for the meal. Perfect lunch stop."

"After parking near the River Bonnette, we followed the signs to this good restaurant not located on a main walking route. While many restaurants stop seating at 1:30 this restaurant was happy to seat us close to 2PM. The waitress was kindly receptive to my poor French and spoke English when helpful. We enjoyed a three course set menu for lunch plus wine for €13 each. Our main course was tomates farcies (stuffed tomato) with small sides of rice, green beans and another vegetable. It was so good. The dessert course was chocolate eclairs or apple pie. The restaurant was modest, authentic and great value, one of our best and memorable meals on this visit to France."

"We have eaten at the Guinguette many, many times and have sent friends and family to eat there too Today, however, we were told never to come back because we complained about a maggot in the salad and the uncooked meat. The patron, who could easily give Basil Faulty a run for his money, said that he couldn’t see the problem with the maggot, insisting that it was “only a little one”! He even wanted to show me where the maggot came from. Incredible!! Nasty, never going back."

"Décevant.Le menu alléchant mais les ingrédients n'étaient pas vraiment au rendez vous :TERRINE DE THON AU SAUMON : En fait il y avait 2 petits morceaux de saumon, le reste des tomates...Le CARRE DE VEAU était une vulgaire viande à pot au feu inmangeable !Service très lent... heureusement nous avions le temps."
