"Recommended by our hotel, three of us at the early seats at this place, away from the old town, but only 10 minutes to walk from our hotel. we arrived at 7:30 a.m. and were the second party sitting, but within 10 minutes the entire place was full and dizzy with activity. our friendly and spunky waiter, paul, (can be the name, pablo was hurried yet very friendly. we started with the plentiful platter of the charcuterie, consisting of thin cut local meat including ham de bayonne, salami and chorizo as well as some local pate of pork. for entrées enjoyed two of us the entrécore (thinsteak,) who came with fries and a bit salat and a person got the pan-fried fish that was delicious. of course the meal came with mouthwatering French brot. a cheap and yet delicious bottle red wine from st. emilion was a great welcome. we were too full of dessert, but the decisions looked appetit. if they are looking for a really local place, this is a good choice."

"Stopped in for lunch one sunny day. Very pleasant lady who served us was very patient with my bad French. Great setting on the promenade overlooking the beach and bay. We had Mussels with Roqueforte and Cod Espangnole. Both were excellent. Prices considering the view...were very fine and better than the other restaurants right around it. Would definitely return."

"Thanks for a nice breakfast. attentive, efficient and friendly staff, our order was quickly taken and arrived in time. They discovered we missed a fork before we did it and brought it fast. Breakfast included yogurt, fruit and granola, bacon and egg,... with drink of our choice and fresh orange juice. This business deserves to do well. The hotel is situated opposite the railway station so not a quiet location, but the interior is modern and the outdoor terrace is pleasant. You also have to buy some local crafts products."

"Ive had 2 birthday meals here, and I hope to have more. Genuinely exceptional cooking of top quality ingredients. Simple presentation and cooking but with top quality technique. Loved the fois gras and the duck, as did my (then) 2 .5 year old son who ate a whole leg of confit, much to the good humour of the lovely staff. We love this place and hope to return either this summer or next."

"We ordered a La Carte and the service was prompt and unobtrusive. We were served two amuse bouche courses. The menu is definitely innovative but you need to be slightly adventurous and keen on seafood. I would definitely eat there again."

"Great view from this place. It also has very good food, although it is expensive and probably not the best in its price category. The service is good, there is a good wine-list and they have top-notch fish and desserts."
