"We chose the secret of the monks and frankly it was good but the quantity was really very low for a dish at this price. A single piece unlike what you see in the picture. Very welcoming staff."

"When we arrived here as a family to enjoy a nice time together, the first thing we were told was to NOT order different dishes each as it was not convenient for the cook and we should not complain to be served late.... That was...after being told when we booked that we’d better not come late ! Then the waiter explained that many bad clients order different things and then complain that it takes time to come...We nevertheless ordered what we wanted. A lady then brought the drinks and dropped half of them on the floor on the way. The dishes came reasonably on time but in various batches, and absolutely every dish had some sugary sauce or some sweet components to it, including starters and main dishes, and of course the sweets, very sweet indeed. probably to mask the bitterness of the owner . Finally when we left there to go have a dip in the river 80m down the road before to leave, the owner shouted at us that we had to move our cars from his parking and go park by the river as we were no more clients in his restaurant from that moment ! He abused one of us in particular who refused to return to the parking...because he had no car there ! he came in the car of his brother Very unfriendly place and not that good food either frankly. The salads were huge but awful. Only the entrecôte steak and beef burgers was good. Fish burger not good ! Bread not good either. Squids a la plancha were absolutely tasteless and dry, probably just defrost. Broccoli purée was served as side dish to many of us...in summer...probably not fresh and not tasting good."

"On peut venir manger dans cet établissement en toute confiance même si nous ne sommes pas clients de l'hôtel.L'accueil est très sympathique, le menu 'Ardéchois' très bon de l'entrée au dessert et le service est très bien. de plus il y a un vin rosé d'un producteur de la commune voisine (St Marcel) très intéressant"

"Je venais assez régulièrement dans ce restaurant il y a bien quelques années. je viens d'y retourner! quel choc! Le nom du restaurant est parfait par contre habitant dans les environs je ne suis pas un touriste. Service approximatif, brouillon qualité très moyenne pour un prix excessif. Je pense que c'est encore un restaurant qui pense que tout le monde peut faire a manger en facturant un max. Ce restaurant fait négligé. Grosse déception"
