"Ce restaurant est l'une de nos adresses fétiches sur St Rémy!Les plats y sont délicieux et de qualité , les parts sont servis copieusement. Nous y allons régulièrement et n'avons jamais été déçus par ce que nous avons mangés.L'ambiance à l'intérieur est assez typique , on y vient plus pour les plats que pour la décoration c'est certain mais cela a son charme , la terrasse l'été est agréable et l'accueil toujours chaleureux. Mention spéciale pour le boeuf au saté exceptionnel et les nems au chocolat en dessert!"

"Een compleet nieuw concept met een zeer beperkte kaart met logo BIOlogisch en dan crêperie. Dan wordt je dus echt onaangenaam verrast. Er waren niet eens drankjes met alcohol, dus ook geen wijn. We zijn weggegaan en hebben elders in St.Remy heerlijk gegeten."

"If you find yourself strolling the narrow streets of Saint Remy, France you should take a moment to savor the surroundings and stop by Chez Mamine. The café is in the middle of a beautiful “square” complete with shade trees and a fountain.My husband and I were there around breakfast time so we opted for the typical Parisian breakfast of French bread with jam and honey, Orange juice and coffee. Of course everything was delicious (but how can you go wrong with bread and coffee) We did see dishes that others had ordered and they looked yummy! The wait staff were pleasant and bilingual. I do believe it is the surroundings that make Chez Mamine so lovely. While the food was good, it is the fountain, the square, the shops and the people that made Chez Mamine wonderful"

"We selected La Table d'Yvan because of all the great reviews on Tripadvisor. Perhaps alarm bells should have rang when I heard fixed menu but then I thought it would mean only the best, freshest produce as can the the trend nowadays. Nah, they just want to get the crowds fed and have it down to a t. La Table d'Yvan is the restaurant of a small 3 start hotel. Ok, so maybe my expectations were high - I was expecting a really nice place. It was ok - but no more than that. The garden was ok, not very manicured and the restaurant's terrace is on two levels in the garden - the pool is on a level higher so you have residents of all shapes and sizes strolling by in their swim wear back to the hotel. The mistral had lifted and so my daughter was cold. I asked if they could lend her a shawl or blanket but the maitre d said no. You would have thought in a hotel they'd have something..... Anyway the menu is 5 "courses" comprising an amuse bouche (gaspacho and mozzarella quiche), starters (trilogy of salmon), main (veal with truffle jus), cheese and dessert. Amuse bouche nice enough. The salmon was ok at best - I dislike salmon with thick white stipes of fat - a telltale of farmed fish. The veal itself was nice enough but was covered in mushrooms which I hate. when I mentioned this, I was told that although it was not on the menu, I should have told them. Never mind, there will be a cheese dish that the French are so famous for..... no no it was a small bit of goat's cheese with a spoonful of fig jam. Fed up (and cold) we didn't bother waiting for dessert. We won't be recommending it to friends or returning. On the plus side, our waitress was charming and very efficient."
