"The food served here is perfectly acceptable but I would expect better for the price.The menu is only on the one board outsideStarters were nothing special, melon, goats cheese etc. The assiette de fruit de mer was good, but not cheap at 24 euros. I had griiled plaice which came with a large portion of sauteed potatoes. Desserts were good but not spectacularThe service was quite slow and patchy; we had to ask for an ice bucket for our wine (it was a hot evening) and for condiments. Also waited an age for our coffee which they had forgotten. All small details which can make a difference to your eveningWe did get a spectacular sunset however!!!!!!!!!!!!One other thing, smoking was allowed on the outside terrace which is enclosed and this pervaded most of our evening as chain smoking with a meal still seems to be the thing in France!"

"We have visited this restaurant several times. The food, chosen from set menus, is always delicious - beautifully cooked and presented. There is a wide wine list and every wine we have selected has been superb.Service is always good ... on this occasion the restaurant was completely full but service was excellent. The dining room and the conservatory are both very pleasant places to eat.We definitely recommend this restaurant"

"Had two visits here and two different experiences.The first time for coffee mid-afternoon, friendly staff and after a walk to then end of the prom we came back for lunch. I had the blue cheese burger and my wife had goats cheese salad. Reggie the dog had the treats we brought with us.Both meals seemed pretty freshly cooked and were enjoyable. On the second visit. It was windy. Not Force 10 by any means. But coaxing any waiting staff out to serve us proved mission impossible. So we gave up. I don't expect fawning waiters but I do expect someone to see you sitting there and cone out rather than simply ignore you."

"The location of this place is absolutely great and well worth the walk along the promenade or down from the ramparts. The food is OK but over priced for the quality, in all probability trading on the location. The service when we went was haphazard with no obvious organisation but all the staff were pleasant, the food was fine - the mussels in particular coming in for high praise. We ended up having a very pleasant long lazy lunch in the sunshine with a great backdrop across the bay to Crotoy."

"Nourriture bas de gamme par rapport au prix payé. De plus, le patron est très malhonnête et rempli de vices car il sous entendait que tout était bien alors que j'avais demandé un sandwich qui au final était sans pain (un comble quand même)Profite des personnes étrangères et touristiques, une mauvaise hygiène et non respect de la propreté dont le non-port de charlotte, ni de gants.Une inspection sanitaire ne serait pas de refus ... À éviter surtout /!\"
