"Despite some dodgy reviews on here, we decided to eat here, attracted by the African dishes (they also do the usual steaks, burgers etc). We thought the food was great, the restaurant was really quirky and the staff incredibly friendly."

"We chose this restaurant because we were there a few years back. It was as good as it used to be. The chicken was not enough cook, and the boudin was too cooked. Too bad for this place that use to be so great"

"Not sure if it was because the restaurant was overbooked, but on the day we had lunch there, the servings were tiny, but allowing for that, the food was good and the waiter attentive and amiable. This central restaurant has recently reopened after renovation and...is charmingly decorated, with a few delightful quirks, such as the menu’s being presented inside bound books... giving it a ambience of fun and friendliness. The food is traditional French fare, with Tête de Veau being a regular option. We had three formules du jour, which were temptingly priced, however, while my main course tagliatelle carbonara was about the right size (just) those of my two companions were woefully inadequate, about two spoonfuls each, with minimal lardons... had we not been English and Dutch we probably would have complained, but, we believe the staff were worried that they had not got enough food for all their customers... poor planning on someone’s behalf I think. The food was tasty, but they do need to look at their quantities if they want customers to keep returning and recommending them. We will give them another chance..."

"Stop in this hotel for a lunch on a journey between the Auvergne and champagne. and removal that is well outside. the dining room is modern and correct but without any heat despite a beautiful view of the city of light in the attic. a friendly room staff without any more and who seems not to have motivation. an absolutely no-flavoured meal. What a bad luck for the Burgundian cuisine ... it seems that the staff is aware of the situation at the restaurant level and justifies this by the changes, real or not, in progress. this establishment does not deserve these 3 cocottes to the guide logis 2016."
