"I have been coming to eat at this restaurant on a regular basis for about 7 years....I have always recommended it to people..However, since June of this year, I've noticed a huge change in the service and food...I would not class the place as a "fine dining establishment" but I always enjoyed the food and thought they put out one of the best seafood platters around...until my family and a few out of town friends visited there last week. Firstly, we ordered a bottle of wine which she brought to the table...I asked her if she had something to keep the wine chilled for us...she brought down a plastic water pitcher with ice in the bottom and put the wine bottle in that and placed it on our table.....Yes...she did...lol...Three of us ordered the seafood platter and as I bit into my salmon-it was rancid..which then led the others who ordered it not to eat the salmon on their plates. I'm sure the cook just had to smell the piece of salmon on the plate and tell it was rotten...I called the waitress over to tell her to notify the cook about this and she did not even apologize, ask if I wanted anything else or even offered me a free coffee..NOT that we expect anything for nothing but when we order something and a big part (or part that I was looking forward to) of the meal was rancid, I do expect some kind of reaction(even the word sorry) from the server. We did pay the full amount for the food (even tipped her) but it will be the last cent they'll get from us. Whatever happened to this place since June- new management or something, they have gone way downhill in my opinion. I will not likely return until I look in and see the couple who ran it before June working as they know what good service and good food are."
