"Visited for dinner on a weeknight. Ate outside and ordered Fish Chips and the Vegetable Pie. Menu had some traditional pub choices as well as salads and burgers. Great service. Laid back , friendly environment—order food and drinks at the bar and they will...deliver to your table."

"I had moved to Thun just two days before I went to this bar, for my husband's birthday. It was more than I could have expected. The cocktails are unbelievably beautiful as wad the venue. The bartenders know every bar drink under the sun and their cocktails are amazing. I ordered the French martini, off-menu, and it was the best I have ever had. The venue has subtle lighting, comfy chairs and a back room that apparently is home to live music. I can't wait to go back!"

"On palm Sunday after thun sung and not much was open, but mcarthurs pub was grateful. they have a burger clearly labeled vegan and our beautiful waitress even asked if we cooked the fries in a separate frit than anything else that was really nice. burger was actually pretty good."

"We were often in the Anthra because it is a cool bar with red couches on which you can sit while drinking a really good cocktail (with or without alcohol). There are also TVs, so you can go and see a game there... or you go and play billiards or table football. So there are a lot of things to do and when you get hungry, go and order French fires with Nuggets because they are very tasty."

"The Simplyfine is my favorite go to find hard and excellent Swiss craft beer. But not only do they have a good selection for hop heads, but more delicious treats for gourmet lovers. "What an incredible find, attentive service, excellent food and brilliant prices for a course set lunch). Not often you find somewhere that offers some great vegetarian options with the same care as the meat dishes. Service wasn't rushed but perfect speed to take...time between courses and enjoy the view. With waiting staff being attentive without being intrusive. The most incredible setting and great attention to detail from the staff. Just need to go back to try the afternoon tea and an evening meal!"

"We came by the old town of thun by the night stroll. a large terrace with veranda and spalier also invites smokers to stay. for the little starving we ordered a salad-fitness plate with tomme and a cheese cut with egg. the service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. we're coming back!"

"This place is great for drinks, but I would not recommend the food (except the Natchos). Our waiter was rather rude, he brought the wrong food (meat rather than vegetarian) and too many sauces he accused us when it came to pay."
