"I have been consistently going to this location for nearly 6 years with friends and family. I rotate between their red velvet cake with a side of ice cream, ice cream crepes, and seasonal sundaes!Recently, I came during a rush but the host that night, Kingsley, managed to seat not only me, but everyone else as swiftly as possible. The team here at Demetres Downtown Markham exemplifies passionate and exceptional service during every visit!I heavily recommend this fresh, decadent, and addictive gourmet dessert shop!"

"Terre Rouge is a hybrid-French, luxury restaurant that does it right. To begin, when one walks in, they are greeted by friendly, attending staff. The ambience is set immediately with fantastic lighting and decor to set the mood for a fun, exciting dining experience. The service is top-notch and if I were to rate the restaurant alone on service, this would be a perfect review. Friendly, understanding, helpful, and an efficient waiter/waitress attend to your every dining and service need, amplifying the dining experience. The food is on the pricier side, but for the most part is well worth it. My lobster bisque was well made and other dishes that my friends ordered were excellent (had a bite of each). My only qualm is that my burger was overcooked to medium-well or else I would give it a perfect rating. It was still good, but I was hoping for a more medium depth to the burger. Overall, although Terre Rouge falls on the pricier end, I recommend going here for an excellent dining experience. Just don't get the burger."

"Probably one of the places I've frequented the most for brunch. We have visiting for dine in and gotten take off more times than we can count. Its a smaller cafe style spot. It was always busy before the pandemic and is probably considered a hidden gem in Markham. They use to have a limited dinner menu too which I hope they bring back."
