"I had the schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce and the person I was with had the cordon bleu with gruyere cheese. Both were fantastic. I'd recommend this place if you want classic Swiss food."

"We were able to get a table right next to the water. Although our visit was in May, it was quite a cool evening and we enjoyed an appetizer of fondue split between 2 of us. My husband ordered the pork, which he loved, and...I had the mixed salad. Everything was great!"

"Don't expect high cuisine, but this is a good place to be with friends. I was alone and was invited to sit at a table at the terrace where a very friendly Swiss couple were finishing their meal. Nice idea...it was a very nice experience,...talking with them : Ah, and what about the food? My good cordon bleu in a nice big size portion came relatively fast. I enjoyed my dinner."

"The Althus Bar has just been renovated so it’s really the NEU Althus Bar. What a superb summer’s evening sitting on the cobbled stones of the old town. Love the concept of serving locally brewed beers and sourcing from local food suppliers. They have wine...too! Great food, great drinks and such friendly service. Got me a membership ask about that!"

"What a disappointment. We have been recurrent clients of this restaurant. We are a family with kids. We have booked as usual our Sunday lunch, and this week we were sitting at a table next to a big open window (7•c outside) and my family was cold. We kindly asked to be reseated somewhere fare away from the window or to close the window. Unfortunately the answer was we can’t replace you somewhere else (although they were plenty of space at the back of the restaurant) nore close the window. We were therefore left with the dilemma of staying but being cold or leaving. We therefore left the restaurant, and the waiter asked us to pay the water which we did, but was disappointing to not have a commercial gesture! It was therefore the last time we will go to this restaurant."
