"My wife and I were called compass coffee for a good breakfast. they were right, this place was good. I had her signature biscuits and gravy, and my wife had a waffel with mixed berries and whipped cream. my biscuits were moist and fluffy. the heavy was amazing with a small amount of warmth. I didn't have to drown them in tabasco. the cuts make the dish really nice. presentation is beautiful and portions were perfect. the Belgian waffles were not too sweet and were well composed with fresh berries. a portion could be divided by two people. they made me a mocha that was better than any mocha I've ever had! this place is definitiw part of the hipster slash leaves vancouver more like portland places that pop up in the city. as long as they do not start to serve blue ribon with a side of long lines and server with settings that cares! we will soon return to this place!"
