"We followed SBS food channel to this Nice hidden modern Thai restaurant on Chapel Street. Friendly staff, lovely warehouse style. We ordered deep fried snapper, calamari and red duck curry. They all taste good especial the red duck curry. Much more better than the other called “Thai” restaurant-Chin Chin. The downside is the price is bit high for the portion of the food."

"Interesting market. A wide variety of cooked and uncooked food available. Flowers sold there were pretty. The meat and seafood area caught my attention the most. Meat sold there by the various stalls were amazing. Duck, lamb, beef, pork... Anything you can think of. The sushi sold at one of the fish shop was simple but amazing!! Didn't have enough time today as I parked my car at a 1 hour spot. Will park in the multi storey parking next to the market next time."

"Laksa Bar is the most consistent restaurant I go to. I always get what I expect which is delicious and flavoursome (and massive!) laksa. The soft shell crab is to die for! The cocktails are always nice and they have deals with drinks and meals :)"

"My partner and I had a lot of fun. Brought up a couple of bottles of wine on the advice of our server, had a lot of interesting dishes we'd never tried before, there was plenty to eat, and the entertainment included a quite talented jazz saxophonist, although by the third set it was 100% Russian disco so we made our exit. On the down side, at $60-70 per head it is very pricey, and the meat main course was basic (tater tots? really? ."

"Over many years my family, friends and I have been patronising Chun Po, enjoying the superb food and friendly service. Some of our favourite dishes - ones we have ordered again and again over the years and found the quality consistently good, include: Crisp-skinned Chicken, San Choi Bao, Spicy Deep-fried Garfish, Japanese Silken Tofu with Vegetables, Chicken with Fresh Chestnuts in Claypot, Whole Deep-fried Flounder, and my sister's favourite Whitebait Omelette. The menu is extensive, and I've never been disappointed by anything ordered. And we always appreciate the complimentary fresh fruit that is brought to the table with the bill!"
