"Loved this spot! Staff was friendly and there were so many vegan options, even a vegan fish oil for the papaya salad which was delicious. I do not recommend if you do not like spicy but the kick was worth it. The Evil Jungle Noodles dish was also Thanks for taking care of us!"

"I gave this restaurant three chances being that is in my neighborhood. This is probably the worst Thai I've ever had! The beef in the pa nang tasted like it was rotten. There was no flavor or heat in any of the dishes. Spent over $100 just to throw it away. The peanut sauce was good though"

"This is my favorite Thai place in Portland! The restaurant is on the second floor in an old Victorian style house. It seems a bit odd as it sets back from the street and requires climbing a short flight of stairs to get to the front door. The first time I went there, I didn't know what to expect when we got inside. I was pleasantly surprised. The dining areas are cozy and clean and the floors sometimes creak underfoot. The walls are colorful and there is always some soft music playing in the background. If you hit this place during the school year and over the lunch year you'll find yourself surrounded by PSU students. You see, not only is the food superb, it is also very affordable! I of course, love the green curry, but I'm the type who always gets the same thing. I've always gotten great food and excellent service here. I go back every chance I get!"

"Small, family-owned, cafe-style restaurant. to fight or go. they are ready to make almost everything on their menu vegan. all I have tried is delicious, the sauces are from this world. Papaya salad with lemongrass tofu and wide rice noodles are not the best. The portions are large, but there are so many possibilities that everyone in their party will get what they want and they will have rest for later. yum!"

"Typhoon is a bit expensive (like $14 per plate average but I think it is worth it. Whenever I come up to Portland, my husband and I make it a point to go to Typhoon. My favorite dish is beef with grapes. I have also brought friends with me, and they enjoyed it. The restaurant is always VERY clean, the atmosphere is relaxing and I always enjoy it. I have never had to send anything back (which is amazing for me! or have any issues with my order."

"There was literally nobody else eating here — odd when next door was packed to the gills — but we went in anyways. The food was delicious — pineapple noodles were an ample serving, and arrived quickly. We forgot to ask for any spice, and wished we had — neither dish (Massaman curry was the other) had any to speak of. Friendly service, nice ambiance if you can sit outside. Delicious Thai iced tea! I will go back!"
