"Amazing authentic Italian food. Luca, our server, went above and beyond helping us with wine and food selection as our party was vegetarian. To start we had the Pera salad which has poached pears, gorgonzola, greens, and dried apricots. All of the components of the salad worked well together besides the poached pear which was too cinnamon heavy. The second appetizer was the 800° Bruschetta. Save this as an entree and get the large version as you won't be disappointed by the perfectly melted mozzarella and well seasoned cherry tomatoes. As the main entree we opted to get the Valentino pasta without the chicken. The creamy pistachio pesto sauce combined with the tomato cavatelli and semi sundried tomatoes was the highlight of the night. Luca recommended the Hopewell Valley Chardonnay which paired well with all of the dishes. To top off the night we ended with Pompei dessert with chocolate hazelnut gelato. Definitely a dessert to save room for! All the food was well worth the food coma. If you are in the area and looking for a fine dining Italian experience that's worth your time look no further than Luca's Ristorante!"
