"Have enjoyed Mayfel's every time I go to Asheville. I tried the steak scramble special this last visit and was not disappointed! We had a large party and they told us it might be about an hour, however they were able to seat us within 30 minutes!! I will definitely return"

"We were seated on the side of the restaurant by the kitchen. It was fine, but it was literally where the servers were picking up orders and there was no divider. It was as if we were in the kitchen itself. That said, the waitress was friendly and the food was outstanding as always. I would come here for the Brussels alone!"

"Sloooowwwww. We arrived at 10:35-40 for our reservation at 10:45. We didn't get our food until around 11:40 good thing we weren't starving. Service wasn't great, food wasn't worth the price. I've been to one of these before and I don't remember it being this bad. So unfortunate it was disappointing considering it was my parents anniversary trip. My dad who never complains was not thrilled his grits had gotten cold. Mom thought her shrimp and grits tasted good. My chicken and waffles weren't anything to brag about the portion of chicken was much smaller than I remember."
